ABOUT NGOZI
Ngozi Opara is a Beauty Entrepreneur and Hair Manufacturing Technician who owns and operates her Washington DC based beauty company, N-ZO Beauty LLC. Ngozi began her career in the hair care industry over 10 years ago as a cosmetologist whose area of focus is in natural hair care and hair extensions.
She eventually went on to work for hair care industry lead, Carols Daughter where she further nurtured her love for natural hair. In 2012 Ngozi set out to fill a void in the natural hair industry by creating the Heat Free Hair Movement, the first company to manufacture virgin human hair extensions made to seamlessly blend with the different textures of natural hair. Heat Free Hair was inspired by the thousands of women that use sew-in weaves as their protective style of choice, but were limited to styles that require them to heat straighten their hair for the purpose of blending with their style. This movement is not only now the #1 company for 100% virgin human hair lines exclusively created for natural hair textures, but serves as a community platform for women to display their heat free styles and connect with an amazing community of natural women.
Ngozi set herself apart in the hair extension industry by leaving her comfort zone and moving to Qingdao China where she studied to become a Hair Manufacturing Technician. Today Ngozi works from her Washington DC office and hope to combine her interest in beauty as well as tech, real estate, and business development to expand her brand in the near future.
