Michell C. Clark is a 28 year old, Washington, DC-based writer, content creator, and entrepreneur. He is originally from Woodbridge, Virginia, home of Potomac Mills and not much else worth speaking of. He finds therapy in the gym. He likes his bourbon on the rocks, his playlists elite, and his freelance checks on time.

In October 2018, Michell released ‘Keep It 100: daily affirmations for millennials who are tired of being called millennials’ via a Chicago-based, Black woman-owned publishing house called 13th And Joan. As the book title would suggest, this is a radically different interpretation of affirmations than many would expect – full of blunt humor, ridiculous rap references, poignant vulnerability, and childlike sarcasm.

Michell found his gateway into the creative community via his music discovery platform, Artistic Manifesto, which he ran for eight years. He personally interviewed the likes of Jhene Aiko, Chuck D, Lupe Fiasco, and Phife Dawg. He shut down the site in February 2018 to focus on ‘Keep It 100’, other forms of content creation, and entrepreneurial endeavors. He launched a Drake-themed brunch party event concept in DC called “Views From The Grits” with Britt Wright in 2016 that regularly attracts upwards of 400 attendees.
