I’m Taylor! I grew up in a small town in southern Alabama called Bay Minette.

Growing up is tough. It’s a constant fight between trying to be who you want to be and trying to fit in based on who others think you should be. Ultimately we all have to learn to own the things that make us unique.

I’ve been fortunate to always have a huge support system encouraging my individuality. I know that isn’t the case for everyone, especially for black boys and girls. So in a world that tends to put them in a very narrow box, it’s our job to do whatever small part we can to make sure the world sees them, supports them, and loves them for who they are.

Brother Box is my small part and I hope you’ll make it yours too!
